Beauty

Their was a young girl I once knew
so happy and elegant
forever "un-blue"
oh, how I wished I could be her
from heaven she was sent
how she brought you into others lives
but one day heaven carried her away
some say she sent herself
for when no one was around she hated that girl in the mirror

I suppose beauty is a thing you see
beauty is a thing you feel
beauty is a life of pain
and something that fades
Beauty causes tears
beauty causes hatred
beauty causes death

all beautiful ones cry
all beautiful ones ore in pain
all beautiful ones want another life
all the beautiful ones go insane

Future children be-careful what you say
get to know people before you run away
who knows?
give the different ones a chance
and you may save their life at glance

I would like to thank my sister Whitney for helping me write this poem!
I love you whit!!

Death

That silent scent of rose and its soft silky petals, lets me know i can smell.
To taste tangy tangerines in torrid summer time, lets me know i can taste.
To near a flaming fire frying, lets me know i can touch.
Heeding soprano singing her sorrowful songs, lets me know i can hear.
Staring at the silky night sky, lets me know i can see.
Pain short lived, lets me know I'm now free!
