Dreaming Of Love

Yesterday I dreamed of you
You and I lying close
Under a shade tree in a field
We talked for hours
Just you and I
Holding on to each other hoping this would never end

The you I talk about
I did not see
I could hear her sweet voice,
Her skin was soft as silk,
She had a scent of a flower garden in the early spring
I had a feeling deep inside,
That she was the one!

I know not why see stay hidden from me
Is it because we have not found each other yet;
Is it cause I have met you
And haven’t figured out you are this one?

My heart lays puzzled as I awaken
I wonder when she will be revealed to me
Trying to think I decide
To dreamland I will go to see this
Mystery girl I do so dream of
Hoping soon she will be laying next to me both in and out of my dreams
