"Jesus Take Me To The Moon"
Oh Come down Jesus take me to the moon
I’m not doing so good down here
No I get no loving form these loving folks
I want no heaven, (oh no) Just take me a little bit close
Just a little close, so I can heal my soul
Oh come down Jesus take me to the moon
I get no loving from these loving folks
All I can do is tip toe around their hearts
Peek into the dark remnants of their dying souls
But that isnt no loving, (Oh no, oh no), Oh no Jesus, I get no loving,
I’m stuck down here, stung by the blues
Oh Come down Jesus take me to the fair moon
I want no heaven, (oh no) Just take me a little bit close
Just a little close, so I can heal my soul.

"Black Warrior Blues"
Yesterday I woke up
In my new black leather boots
They were so clean and shinny
I could see my own grim dark face
Reflected on those darn slick black boots
I woke up the next day
Find myself next to clean smelly white satin sheets
Oh lord I was lost
Where was my reflection
Where were my sweets black

"The Road to Acceptance"
Come on down the road
There is a road to acceptance
Where the sky above it is way way down too low
You got to bend your head
And maybe your knees too
To travel on the road to acceptance
You got to crawl on all fours
Oh yes, you got to give in – give in to the flow
Oh yes, you got to give in – give in to the flow
Forget about your blackness, blend in and mow (like a cow)
Forget about the blues and the rolling stones
Just smile and strip down naked, strip off your soul
Come down to the road of acceptance
With your soul bend way way down low

My Sister Amber Soul
My sister Amber soul
Was black, black as coal
Oh my sister Amber soul
Was black, black as coal
But she had some case of blues
That would lit the whole wide world blue
There were two things certain
About my sister amber
Her blackness and her blues
Her blackness and her blues
