Candles Once Burned

For You

You were all that one desires,
Only invisible,
your invincible passion burns for love ,so silently;
As a candle burns its passionate flame to a room you entered,
Never wanting me to leave,
Never giving word, of a sigh for passion,
Only the hard game you played,
Knowing better not to show what is held deep down inside,
As the candle continues to burn for you,


Silently holding back moments that could turn to passion,
Silently frightened for love you could have,
Passion that could burn ,a flame of light ,upon your soul,
gives way to new life to sorrow of loneliness,
Disbelief that love could not happen this way,

Only when a soul reached out your  way,
did you know,
Your candle still burns, Only
with a breath of air, could it go out,
Room would turn to darkness,
No shadow to hold onto,

In the midnight darkness stood a grand image
that  stood there for you,
envisioned in the shadows of a candlelight;
creating a path for your visions ,
what holds in a lonely room you entered into ,

Could a flicker of a match light that candle again?
Could the candle show shadows against the walls
of a silent soul?
As one lights the candle to show passionate desires;
Must one leave the wall to stand in silence?
bare shadows of darkness upon their very soul,
 sheltered coldness that was rendered,
while a candle burns alone ,within a room entered,

staring at a candle that  shined on empty walls,
became now silent to the room entered,
For desires of someone who left a shadow on my wall,
Was a light of a flickering candle shining on a soul,
giving  hope to a soul you believed was only a shadow,
who believed in you,

In the midst of a empty room;
where passion was found,
where your love once unfolded,
emptiness burned inside,
as I left the room,
silent to what was felt ,
when the candle  once burned for you,

Hanger

For the candle burns in silence to a once lit room,
For passion that once was fulfilled
