Walk Along The Shoreline

To The Dawn
   

As the sun meets the dawn
To a new day upon the rise
So does the sunshine upon your face,
As you meet the day with memories and thoughts
Take new meaning for the beginning of a new day
Walking the coastal water upon the shore
Bare foot with waves washing upon your bare feet
Living with feelings held deep inside ,
Wondering the shores to calmness that meets the ocean waves
To distant shores does the dawn meet,
To feelings you distant, kept down deep like the deep blue sea
To waves beneath your feet that soothes the walk upon the beach
Now with feelings you can't express
Like messages in a bottle, bottled up and thrown to the ocean
Never returning to you, till you open the bottle

Bottled for all you need to express,
To the one you wish was by your side
Holding only to the feelings you keep inside
A love upon the beach so tender is it held

Like a sea shell,
that is pleasant to your eyes
You soon pick up observing its beauty for all it gives
The feelings you feel, you soon express
Till you meet the dawn, for the one to be with
upon the shores
You on the sandy beach hold with the dawn
To each of the meetings of the new dawn beginnings
For the words to the dawn, coming
together once again as one
Emotions released as the sun rises to meet the dawn of a new day
