Our Candles Burns Forever

For that is the way we were when together ,
Soft and cuddly ,
Gentle as a soft snowflake melting it way down upon your cheek ,

washing away what  was felt ,upon your face ,

Only could I see that love to be,

The tears fall, tears that hold meaning,

The warmth inside,

Never in coldness ,I only felt your compassion from inside,

The deep passion reaches out that held me imprisoned,
A gentle touch passing to our night ,
Only hoping you stay to my side forever ,

Before the candle burns out ,
I wear a smile for what was and will be,
To your gentle touch,
To a light that shines now on your soul,
An enticement at what we had,
As the candle is at our side bringing light , 
Closing my eyes to the past,
Opening my eyes to amazement that entailed me to being here,
For our time is now present
You by my side,
Gentle as for what we had ,

The candle burns again, to  the gentle touch we had ,
For the moments shared ,
With brightness that lights our way ,
To newness that met our path ,
As the candle burns away to light our way,
For what we have together,
Forever in our path,
Our journey has been reached  ,

In the splendor of our being together,
within the light that shines upon our souls,

It emits a path for you to grasp my feelings ,

holding them deep to your side,

Forever shining on us,

As it has mine,
