Splendor In
The Woods

Deep from within the
woods there lies a bridge,
passing over a
babbling brook;
As I look around ,
the trees form a
umbrella over the serene spot I chose,
That mark the place
I want to rest;
Looking around I see
the quiet tranquil surroundings;
The smell of the
mist upon the ground , the place I rest;
Leaves a endless
odor to the decay of natures drop;
Life abundant all
around ,reminds me I'm not alone;
In a endless passing
of time;
Trees as old as me,
blanket the area of
growth,
natures wonders all around;
Dominated by natures
creations,
sounds of a Meadow
Lark, whispers it song ;
a melancholy to its
lover deep within the woods;
Sounds of a squirrel
racing up an old oak tree ,to feed it young;
Sounds of many birds
marking their territory;
to capture their
spot;
Sounds of a brook
dribbling through a stone, wet path ,
Are the many things
that bring focus too
a place, to capture
my eyes;
These are the many
thing that mark the wonders
of being in the
woods,
The colors of
leave changing to the seasons;
The color of a wood
flowers and
the blossoms of the
seasons;
The color of sun
dropping and changing its ray upon
the many splendors
that dominate the woods;
To create warmth and
bring life to a glorious place to be,
within the woods;
As I get up
and leave this beauty behind,
that captured my
attention;
I see a place that
coexist for pleasure
and harmony;
For observing
nature bounty is the tranquil pleasures;
that exist in a
habitant woods ;
Filled with
treasures, beauty from all its surrounds,
Life's many things
that abounds our serenity;
