You came to me like stars in the night,
You brought a smile and a twinkle in my eyes,
You laughed and smiled as I filled our day,
You gave hope another meaning to me
for tomorrow;
Every moment puts a sparkle in my eyes,
and a smile upon my face,
We spoke so tenderly and falling tears brought
down like falling stars,
Love ecstasy spoken with love and smiles,
The night is like a twinkling star that moves
the way we are,
If I had hands to open the heavens,
I'd see they remain open,
To love that fell like the tears from heaven,
So did our love to a end,
Like the stars you fell from my grace,
Like a falling star with tears washed upon the heavens,
To the love that once was shared,
Closing the heaven to what we had,
With moments in heaven to what we had,
Lost in space to harshness upon us,

Like a twinkling star that is dying,
Held the light within our life,
Knowing your end was near,
hurt was the pain for your leaving,
You finally went like a twinkle and gone forever,
Like a falling star to the heavens,
I look for my star that will capture my heart,
